Permits have been filed for a 22-story residential building at 300 East 83rd Street on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. Located at the intersection of East 83rd Street and Second Avenue, the corner lot is three blocks south of the 86th Street subway station, serviced by the Q train. Erik Lalezarian of E83 Properties LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
New renderings have been revealed for The Cortland, Robert A. M. Stern Architects‘ latest residential project at 555 West 22nd Street in West Chelsea. Developed by Related Companies with SLCE Architects as the architect of record, the 25-story reinforced concrete edifice stands topped out nearly 300 feet and will yield 144 residential units spread over 250,000 square feet, for an average of 2,245 square feet. The building rises along West Street across from Hudson River Park between West 22nd and West 23rd Streets.
Construction has topped out on 139 Bowery, a 14-story mixed-use building in the Bowery section of Manhattan’s Lower East Side. Designed by Raymond Chan Architects and developed by Global Joint Venture, the structure will yield 16 residential units, ground-floor retail space, a 550-square-foot medical facility, and commercial office space spanning floors two through five. Mandarin Enterprises is the general contractor for the building, which is located between Broome and Grand Streets.
The next phase of development at Harrison Urby arrives this fall and will introduce 381 rental apartments and an expansion of existing amenities at the residential complex. The property is located at 200 Angelo Cifelli Drive in Harrison and is designed by Concrete, a Netherlands-based architecture group that is also responsible for Urby properties in Jersey City and Staten Island.
The affordable housing lottery has launched for The Bryant, an eight-story residential building at 1115 East 165th Street in Longwood, The Bronx. Designed by Magnusson Architecture and Planning and developed by New Destiny Housing, the 69,450-square-foot structure yields 62 residences. Available on NYC Housing Connect are 24 units for residents at 50 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $25,886 to $64,450.
