Construction is nearing topping out on Two Manhattan West, a 58-story commercial skyscraper in Midtown West. Designed by Skidmore Owings & Merrill and developed by Brookfield, the 935-foot-tall tower will yield two million square feet of office space directly to the south of its 996-foot-high fraternal twin, One Manhattan West. AECOM Tishman is the general contractor for the project, which is located at the corner of West 31st Street and Ninth Avenue. Brookfield is aiming for LEED Gold certification.

300 West 30th Street Approaches Completion In Chelsea, Manhattan

Work is nearing completion on 300 West 30th Street, a 16-story residential building in Chelsea. Designed by Studio C Architects and developed by Hiwin USA, which purchased the property from Salt Equities for $27.5 million in May 2018, the structure will yield 80 residential units and ground-floor retail space. Efin Management Corporation is the general manager of the project, which is located at the corner of West 30th Street and Eighth Avenue, a short walk from Madison Square Garden, Penn Station, and the new Moynihan Train Hall.

Models Give Glimpse of Possible Re-Design of Two World Trade Center in the Financial District

Some recent photos taken by an anonymous tipster of design models for Two World Trade Center (2 WTC) give insight into the possible composition of the highly anticipated skyscraper. Also known as 200 Greenwich Street, the future 1,350-foot-tall office development from Silverstein Properties is expected to be the second-tallest building at the World Trade Center site, and is also the last major component to be built as part of the complex. Located at the southwest corner of Church and Vesey Streets, the site currently sits as an assemblage of columns and mechanical ducts surrounded in muraled walls.
