The building will measure 7,583 square feet, and includes 1,591 square feet for a daycare facility on the ground and cellar levels. Residential units will begin on the second floor and average 749 square feet. Brooklyn-based Shiming Tam is the architect of record, and a two-story townhouse must be demolished before construction begins.

The building will measure 2,176 square feet and span just 16 feet across the vacant lot. One residence will occupy the bottom two floors while the second unit spans the top remaining space, with each unit averaging 1,088 square feet. Jamaica-based Banji Awosika Architect is the applicant of record.

High-Profile Development Site At 205 Montague Street Up For Grabs, Downtown Brooklyn

Midtown Equities has tasked Cushman & Wakefield to market the development site at 205 Montague Street, in Downtown Brooklyn, for more than $200 million, according to Crain’s. The property boasts 300,000 square feet of development rights, and the developer has drafted plans for a 44-story residential tower as well as a 62-story version. A relatively small portion of commercial space is included in the base of the tower, where a five-story office and retail building currently sits. Midtown Equities acquired the site for $33 million in 2010.

In September, YIMBY revealed renderings for an office and retail conversion of the two-story, 20,000 square-foot building at 120 North 6th Street, in north Williamsburg, and now renderings have surfaced for another similar development right across the street at 124-136 North 6th Street. At Nos. 124-136, Thor Equities is planning to expand the existing single-story building into a three-story, 20,400 square-foot retail and manufacturing property, with retail on the ground floor and manufacturing on the second and third floors. Building Studio Architects is the architect of record.
