Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center’s North Campus will soon be replaced by a two-building affordable housing complex in East Flatbush, Brooklyn. Work is wrapping up on The Edge observation deck at 30 Hudson Yards in preparation for a March 11, 2020 opening date. Cantilevering 80 feet out above Tenth Avenue at an elevation of 1,131 feet, The Edge is the highest outdoor observation deck in the Western Hemisphere. L+M Development Partners has closed on $179 million in financing that will support the construction of three new buildings within the Marcus Garvey Extension Project. Located in Brownsville, Brooklyn, the buildings will establish 348 affordable and supportive housing units and approximately 13,400 square feet of commercial and community facility space.
