Updated Renderings Showcase River Ring, BIG’s Two-Skyscraper Development in Williamsburg, Brooklyn

New renderings have been released for River Ring, Bjarke Ingels Group‘s proposed two-skyscraper development in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Developed by Two Trees Management, the organization behind Domino Park, the undertaking is planned to yield 1,050 homes with 263 affordable housing units as well as a six-acre circular waterfront park designed by James Corner Field Operations. The towers would rise from two vacant rectangular parcels that were once home to a Con Edison electric plant bound by North First Street, North Third Street, and River Street. River Ring is expected to generate about 2,000 construction jobs and more than 500 well-paying permanent jobs upon completion.

The affordable housing lottery has launched for 101 Bruckner Boulevard, a seven-story residential building in Port Morris, The Bronx. The 46,237-square-foot development was designed by S. Wieder Architect in collaboration with Input Creative Studio, and yields 55 units. Available on NYC Housing Connect are 17 units for residents at 130 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $63,429 to $133,120.

30 East 31st Street’s Façade Wrapping Up Installation in NoMad, Manhattan

Exterior work is now nearly complete on 30 East 31st Street, a 39-story, 479-foot-tall residential building in NoMad. Designed by Morris Adjmi Architects and developed by Ekstein Development and Pinnacle Real Estate, the slender reinforced concrete tower will yield a total of 70,000 square feet and 42 units marketed by Reuveni Real Estate. Each of the homes will average 1,700 square feet and range in price from $1.65 million to upward of $12 million.
