An LLC has filed applications for a four-story, 16-unit residential building measuring 15,800 square feet at the lots 1702-1706 Newkirk Avenue, in southern Flatbush. Richard J. Walsh, of Citiscape Consulting LTD, is the architect of record, and an existing three-story wood-framed structure must first be demolished.
Crain’s Business reports Nike has leased 147,000 square feet of office space at the Durst Organization’s 42-story, 570,000 square-foot mixed-use building at 855 6th Avenue, in Midtown South. The third through sixth floors will by occupied by Nike, and their lease will include the 15,000 square-foot outdoor deck. The building was revealed by YIMBY in 2014, and completion is expected in early 2016.
The site at 70 Charlton Street in Hudson Square has seen several proposed configurations, but it appears that Extell has finally settled on two 21-story towers as depicted in the most recent zoning diagrams, which are now accompanied by renderings from the project’s teaser website.
