Permits Filed: Residential and Manufacturing at 37-29 33rd Street, Long Island City
Long Island City’s mixed-use district was originally engineered to create a mix of retail, apartments and light industry, but new construction manufacturing space is rarely developed in the waterfront neighborhood once filled with factories. But today, one developer filed plans for a mixed-use building with apartments and ground-floor manufacturing at 37-29 33rd Street, in a subdistrict known as Dutch Kills.
