The affordable housing lottery has launched for 11 Lewis Avenue, a four-story residential building in Bedford Stuyvesant, Brooklyn. Designed by Engineering Consultant Services and developed by F. Goldberger under the 11 Lewis LLC, the structure yields 13 residences. Available on NYC Housing Connect are four units for residents at 130 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $99,326 to $138,840.
Construction is complete on Gotham Point’s north tower, a 57-story residential skyscraper at 1-15 57th Avenue in Hunters Point South, Queens. Designed by Handel Architects and developed by Gotham Organization and Riseboro Community Partnership, the 559-foot-tall structure yields 692 rental units and is also known as Parcel F in a two-tower master plan alongside its shorter 33-story, 443-foot-tall sibling, Parcel G. The property is bound by Center Boulevard to the north, 56th Avenue to the east, and 57th Avenue to the west.
Construction has topped out on 317-319 West 35th Street, a 25-story hotel building in Midtown’s Garment District. Designed by Peter Poon Architects and developed by Wei Hong Hu under the H Hotel LLC, the 249-foot-tall structure will yield 59,250 square feet with 166 hotel rooms, 3,399 square feet of commercial space, and three below-grade levels. Crosscity Construction Corporation is the general contractor for the property, which is located between Eighth and Ninth Avenues.
Construction is now topped out at 49 Fisk Street, a new 337-unit rental property in Jersey City. The project team includes developer Halpern Real Estate Ventures, architect of record Minno & Wasko, interior design studio The Meshberg Group, and general contractor JRM Construction Management.
Permits have been filed for a four-story residential building at 115 New Lots Avenue in Brownsville, Brooklyn. Located near the intersection of Powell Street and New Lots Avenue, the lot is very close to the New Lots Street subway station, serviced by the L train.
