A Yonkers, N.Y.-based property owner has filed applications for a four-story, 12-unit residential project at 381 East 166th Street, located on the corner of Clay Avenue in the South Bronx’s Morrisania neighborhood. The project will measure 10,702 square feet and its residential units should average 736 square feet apiece, indicative of rental apartments. Amenities will include storage for six bicycles and a 268-square-foot recreation room. Pelham, N.Y.-based Fred Geremia Architect & Planners is the architect of record. The 2,456-square-foot plot is vacant.

41-Story, 223-Unit Mixed-Use Tower Rises to 33rd Floor at 38 West 33rd Street, Midtown South

Construction is underway on the 33rd floor of the 41-story, 223-unit mixed-use building under development at 38-46 West 33rd Street, in Midtown South. Progress on the structure, which includes façade installation, can be seen thanks to photos posted to the YIMBY Forums. The latest building permits indicate the tower, upon completion, will encompass 220,724 square feet and rise 404 feet to its upper roof, not including bulkhead elements.

Six-Story, Five-Unit Residential Building Planned at 566 Grand Street, Williamsburg

An anonymous Brooklyn-based LLC has filed applications for a six-story, five-unit residential building at 566 Grand Street, in Williamsburg. The project will measure 7,875 square feet and its residential units should average 1,276 square feet apiece, indicative of condominiums. There will be a duplex apartment across the ground and second floors, followed by full-floor apartments on the third through sixth floors. William A. Corcoran’s Brooklyn-based firm is the architect of record. The 25-foot-wide, 1,875-square-foot plot is occupied by a two-story building. Records indicate demolition began in January.
