Six-Unit Mixed-Use Building Filed For 41-14 Haight Street, Downtown Flushing

Tai Song Lin has filed applications for a five-story, six-unit mixed-use building at 41-14 Haight Street, in Downtown Flushing. The building will total 5,500 square feet, and 1,130 square feet is being allotted for community facility space. A health office and a child daycare are in store, according to the Schedule A. Chang Hwa Tan’s Tan Architect is designing, and an existing two-story home must first be demolished.

Planned 47-Story Office Building At 425 Park Avenue Receives Financing, Midtown East

L&L Holdings and GreenOak Real Estate have landed a $556 million construction loan for their 47-story, 893-foot-tall office building planned at 425 Park Avenue, in Midtown East. The developers are expanding the existing 32-story building office building to accommodate 670,000 square feet of modern office space. Partial demolition begins this month, and the building is scheduled to open in 2018.


2831 West 8th Street

Three-Story Commercial-Community Building Planned At 2831 West 8th Street, Coney Island

Cammeby’s International Group has filed applications for a three-story commercial/community-facility building at 614-638 Sheepshead Bay Road and 2831-2843 West 8th Street, on Coney Island. The complex will have 46,350 square feet of community-facility space, and 41,600 square feet of commercial space, which includes retail and offices, according to the Schedule A. The entire building, mechanical space included, will measure roughly 155,600 square feet, and S9 Architecture & Engineering is designing. At No. 638, demolition has begun on an old single-story structure, and a two-story building currently exists at No. 614. A block to the east, the same developer is planning a 40-story mixed-use building at 532 Neptune Avenue.

Eight-Story, 14-Unit Residential Building Filed For 23-25 Astoria Boulevard, Astoria

Property owner Tony Dagounakis has filed applications for an eight-story, 14-unit residential building at 23-25 Astoria Boulevard, in western Astoria. The 14 units will be spread across 11,150 square feet for an average unit size of nearly 800 square feet. Joseph Gulino’s Structural Engineering Systems is the applicant of record, and a three-story, three-unit townhouse must first be demolished.
