606 West 30th Street’s Glass Façade Nears Completion in West Chelsea, Manhattan

Façade installation is continuing on 606 West 30th Street, a 42-story residential skyscraper along the border of Hudson Yards and West Chelsea, Manhattan. Designed by Ismael Leyva Architects and developed by Lalezarian Properties, the 545-foot-tall structure will yield 312,350 square feet with 192,780 square feet of residential space and 14,240 square feet of commercial space on the lower levels. The project is referred to as Tower B in a two-skyscraper development along with the taller, completed 3ELEVEN at 601 West 29th Street from FXCollaborative and Douglaston Development. Hudson 37 LLC is the general contractor for the property, which is located on an interior lot between Eleventh Avenue and West Street, directly across from the third phase of the High Line.

Excavation and Foundations Underway at 7 Platt Street in Financial District, Manhattan

Construction is in full swing at 7 Platt Street, the site of a 37-story mixed-use tower in the Financial District of Lower Manhattan. Designed by Hill West Architects and developed by The Moinian Group, the 464-foot-tall structure will span 267,760 square feet and yield 250 rental apartments spread across 169,840 square feet, as well as 43,740 square feet of retail space on the first five stories and 34 below-grade parking spaces. Titanium Construction is the general contractor for the property, which is alternately addressed as 110 John Street and located on an interior lot bound by John Street to the north and Platt Street to the south.

Murray Nears Completion at 509 Third Avenue in Murray Hill, Manhattan

Construction is finishing up on Murray, a 35-story residential tower at 509 Third Avenue in Murray Hill, Manhattan. Designed by Ismael Leyva Architects and developed by Kahen Properties with Lalezarian Properties under the Third and Thirty Four LLC, the 386-foot-tall structure will span 166,917 square feet and yield 229 rental units with an average scope of 692 square feet, as well as 8,253 square feet of retail space on the ground floor and a private 30-foot-long yard. Charlton Development Group is the general contractor for the project, which is located at the corner of Third Avenue and East 34th Street.

304 Water Street’s Expansion Tops Out in Vinegar Hill, Brooklyn

Construction has topped out on 304 Water Street in Vinegar Hill, Brooklyn, where a two-story industrial structure is being expanded into a six-story residential building. Yatziv Corp. is the general contractor for the property, which was acquired by 304 Water LLC for $1.85 million in a deal brokered by Investment Property Realty Group. The 1,900-square-foot plot is located between Hudson Avenue to the east and Gold Street to the west.

Renderings Revealed For The Treadwell At 249 East 62nd Street on Manhattan’s Upper East Side

YIMBY has an exclusive set of new renderings from DBOX for The Treadwell, a 28-story, 347-foot-tall residential tower under construction at 249 East 62nd Street in the Treadwell Farm Historic District of Manhattan’s Upper East Side. Designed INC Architecture & Design and developed by Dart Interest, the topped-out Art Deco-inspired building will yield 66 condominium units in studio to three-bedroom layouts with prices ranging from $1.1 to $4.5 million. Brown Harris Stevens Development is managing sales and marketing for the homes, SLCE Architects is the executive architect, CM & Associates is the general contractor, and Zeckendorf Development is the co-manager of the project, which rises from an L-shaped plot by the corner of Second Avenue and East 62nd Street.
