Three-Story, Four-Unit Mixed-Use Building Filed At 150-30 12th Avenue, Whitestone

Property owner Andy Ho, operating under an anonymous LLC, has filed applications for a three-story, four-unit mixed-use building at the vacant lot of 150-30 12th Avenue, in northern Whitestone. The building will measure a total 8,490 square feet, which includes 4,100 square feet of retail/office space on the ground and cellar levels, and an 1,225 square-foot school on the second level. The four residential units will average 792 square feet, and Angelo Ng + Anthony Ng Architects Studio is the applicant of record.


32-35 Linden Place

Seven-Story, 49-Unit Mixed-Use Building Coming To 32-35 Linden Place, Flushing

Last year, YIMBY reported on filings for a 48-unit mixed-use development — broken up into eight small buildings — at 32-35 Linden Place, in downtown Flushing, but now the developers, Latimer & Linden Management Corp., have filed for a single structure. A seven-story, 49-unit building is now planned, and 11,187 square feet of heath care facilities will take up the ground and second floors. The residential units, averaging 672 square feet each, will take up floors three through seven. Peter Casini is the new architect of record. The site’s single-story predecessor was demolished in 2008.


1580 Nostrand Avenue

1580 Nostrand Avenue Hits Market, Site Of Hello Living’s Planned 23-Story Ziggurat, Flatbush

Last summer, YIMBY reported on applications for a 23-story, 153-unit mixed-use building at 1580 Nostrand Avenue, in Flatbush, and then we revealed renderings of the project this past March. But developer Hello Living has now placed the site on the market for $28 million, according to the Daily News. The 173,546 square-foot structure has been approved by the DOB, and the site’s former single-story warehouse was demolished earlier this year.


728 Prospect Place

Five-Story, Two-Unit Mixed-Use Project Filed At 728 Prospect Place, Crown Heights

Dafna Development Group has filed applications for a five-story, two-unit mixed-use building at the vacant lot of 728 Prospect Place, in western Crown Heights, equidistant from subways stations serviced by the 2/3/4/5 and A/C trains. The building will total 4,440 square feet in total, with 1,425 square feet of retail space on the ground floor. Two duplex units will split the upper four levels, penthouse included. Suresh Manchanda’s L&C Associates is the architect of record.


565 Fulton Street

Development Site Assembled At Fulton Street & Flatbush Avenue, Downtown Brooklyn

RedSky Capital recently acquired the three-story commercial building at 585 Fulton Street, in Downtown Brooklyn, for $13 million, and now owns the entire triangular block spanning 565-591 Fulton Street and 398 Flatbush Avenue Extension (excepting the four-story building at 571 Fulton Street). The assemblage currently has 280,000 square feet of development rights, but if No. 571 is acquired, that figure would increase to 330,000 square feet, according to The Real Deal.
