Residential and manufacturing buildings predominate in the vicinity, and the site is six blocks away from the Cypress Avenue Subway Station, serviced by the 6 train.
Permits have been filed for a six-story residential building at 957 Grand Street in East Williamsburg, Brooklyn. The site is three blocks away from the Grand Street Subway Station, serviced by the L train. Right past the Subway Station is an active avenue of stores, restaurants, and bars. Mures Corporation will be responsible for the development.
Today, YIMBY has the reveal for renderings of 76-28 Parsons Boulevard, in Flushing, Queens. The design, by Tan Architects, shows a low-rise residential structure with sixteen balconies, and evidence of a public terrace on the rooftop. The façade is defined by the balconies and several bands of brown, black, grey, and limestone.
Permits have been filed for a four-story mixed-use building at 1548 72nd Street, in Bensonhurst, Brooklyn. The site is three blocks away from the 71st Street Subway Station on the corner of Lt. Joseph Petrosino Park, serviced by the D train. The area is mostly residential, with some shops along New Utrecht Avenue. The Brooklyn-based firm New Empire Real Estate Development is behind the applications.

The site is a block and a half away from the Murray Hill train station, serviced by the Long Island Rail Road’s Port Washington line. The Main Street Subway Station is another eight blocks away, which includes the last stop for the 7 train. Restaurants and retail storefronts are plentiful around both transit nodes. Ling Feng International will be responsible for the development.
