One of the city’s largest tech incubators will soon debut at Zero Irving, a new 21-story property at 124 East 14th Street in Union Square. The facility will occupy six full floors and debut as Civic Hall @ Union Square.
Permits have been filed for a nine-story mixed-use building at 11 Essex Street in Chinatown, Manhattan. Located between Hester Street and Canal Street, the lot is steps from the East Broadway subway station, serviced by the F train. Medel Payumo under the 11 Essex Street Realty LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
Façade work is progressing on NOVA, a 24-story residential tower at 41-05 29th Street in Long Island City, Queens. Designed by Fogarty Finger and developed by SB Development Group, the structure will yield 86 condominium units in studio to three-bedroom layouts with sales and marketing led by Modern Spaces, as well as ground-floor retail space. SBGC, LLC is the general contractor for the property, which is bound by 41st Avenue to the east and 29th Street to the west.
Below-grade work is underway at 43-14 Queens Street, the site of a 19-story residential building in Long Island City, Queens. Designed by SLCE Architects and developed by Rockrose Development, the structure will yield just over 300 rental apartments and approximately 4,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space. 27-34 Jackson GC, LLC is the general contractor for the property, which is located at the corner of Queens Street and Jackson Avenue.
Construction is now complete on Chestnut Commons, a 275-unit affordable housing project in Cypress Hills, Brooklyn. The property is located at 110 Dinsmore Place and was developed in collaboration by MHANY Management, Cypress Hills Local Development Corporation, and Urban Builders Collaborative with support from New York City’s Department of Housing Preservation and Housing Development Corporation.
