The Westchester County Industrial Development Agency (IDA) recently approved Toll Brothers‘ $32 million acquisition of development rights and financial incentives for The Collection, a mixed-use development on the eastern edge of downtown White Plains.
Following nearly a dozen years of urban planning and construction costs in excess of $15 billion, the Hudson Yards mega development’s first phase is rounding the corner toward completion as its commercial, retail, and residential properties hit the market. Related Companies has opened three model units at 35 Hudson Yards, the second residential skyscraper within the new West Side neighborhood.
Permits have been filed for an eight-story mixed-use building at 437 Euclid Avenue in East New York, Brooklyn. Located on the corner of Glenmore Avenue and Euclid Avenue, the lot is one block north of the Euclid Avenue subway station, serviced by the A and C trains. Mega Contracting Group is listed as the owner behind the applications. Plans for the project include affordable independent residences for seniors.
Permits have been filed for an eight-story mixed-use building at 38 Bay Street in St. George, Staten Island. Located between Slosson Terrace and Hyatt Street, the lot is near the St. George Ferry Terminal. Xiong Lin under the 32 Bay LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The exterior glass curtain wall of 74 Trinity Place has reached its 424-foot tall roof parapet in the Financial District. The bronze-trimmed, 26-story superstructure stands directly behind Trinity Church and is being designed by Pelli Clarke Pelli Architects and developed by Trinity Real Estate. Stephen B. Jacobs Group is the executive architect of the 310,000-square-foot building.
