Grand Residences LLC has filed new applications for a planned seven-story, 133-unit residential building measuring nearly 90,300 square feet at 125 Borinquen Place, in central Williamsburg, that had originally been filed in 2013. A small retail component of a few hundred square feet is also included, and DJLU Architects is designing. The existing single-story structure was approved for demolition in 2013.
Anbau Enterprises has closed on the purchase of the five-story apartment building at 203-209 West 79th Street, on the Upper West Side, for $39 million, reports The Real Deal. The developer will go forward with approved plans for a 13-story mixed-use condominium building, and Morris Adjmi is designing. The site has 104,000 square feet of building potential, and demolition permits were recently submitted to knock down the existing building.
Eran Tourgeman, doing business under 635 Holding Corp, has filed applications for a four-story, two-unit mixed-use building measuring 4,520 square feet at the vacant lot 731 Greene Avenue, in central Bedford-Stuyvesant. Sion Hourizadeh, of Sion Consulting Engineering is the architect of record, and the former three-story building was demolished in 2009.
Paramount Home Group Inc. has filed applications for a six-story, 11-unit mixed-use building measuring nearly 8,500 square feet at 13 Patchen Avenue, in Bedford-Stuyvesant near Broadway. BTE Design Services is designing, and an existing two-story townhouse passed pre-demolition inspection in February.
Per The Real Deal, developers Jeffrey Gershon and AEW Capital Management are planning a six-story, 30-condo-unit mixed-use building measuring 115,000 square feet at 520-528 Atlantic Avenue, in Boreum Hill. Two levels will house 30,000 square feet of retail space, and Beyer Blinder Belle is designing. Demolition is expected to convene this summer on the existing single-story structure.
