The Rockwell’s Brick Façade Takes Shape at 2688 Broadway on Manhattan’s Upper West Side

Exterior work is progressing on The Rockwell, a 13-story residential building at 2688 Broadway on Manhattan’s Upper West Side. Designed by Hill West Architects and developed in collaboration by Toll Brothers, which is also serving as the general contractor, and Sculptor under the 2686-2690 Broadway LLC, the structure will yield 81 condominium units in studio to three-bedroom layouts and a ground-floor retail space to be occupied by a CVS Pharmacy. The property is located at the southeast corner of West 103rd Street and Broadway.

Demolition Begins at 207-221 West 84th Street on Manhattan’s Upper West Side

Demolition is getting underway at 207-221 West 84th Street, the site of an 18-story residential building on Manhattan’s Upper West Side. Designed by Hill West Architects and developed by Naftali Group, which purchased the assemblage of properties for $71 million last year, the new 209-foot-tall structure will yield 154,598 square feet with 45 condominium units spread across 151,700 square feet, as well as 2,898 square feet of ground-floor retail space, a cellar level, and 17 enclosed parking spaces. The project spans nearly 250 feet from the corner of Broadway to the middle of the block.

Excavation Begins for Rolex US Headquarters Tower at 665 Fifth Avenue in Midtown, Manhattan

Excavation is underway for the new Rolex US headquarters, a 28-story commercial building at 665 Fifth Avenue in Midtown. Designed by David Chipperfield Architects and developed by the Rolex Realty Company, the 419-foot-tall structure will yield 199,000 square feet of office and retail space for the world-famous watchmaker. Pavarini McGovern is the general contractor for the project, which is located at the corner of Fifth Avenue and East 53rd Street.
