Leasing has officially launched for a new, two-towered development by The Durst Organization in Astoria, Queens. Located at 10 Halletts Point, the 22 and 19-story towers are just the first components of a sprawling, seven-building development that will eventually comprise 2.4 million square feet. It will include more than 2,100 apartments, affordable housing, a public waterfront esplanade, and retail area.
JLL Capital Markets recently announced the successful acquisition of a $36.7 million loan to facilitate the construction of a new, mixed-use condominium building in Manhattan. Located on the border of Flatiron and Chelsea, the building’s official address is 128-130 West 23rd Street, and the project is already under construction.
Rising from a narrow, rectangular-shaped corner lot in Tribeca, the curtain wall for 108 Chambers Street is now revealing itself as work on the project continues to make quick progress. The building is being designed by Woods Bagot Architects, and developed by Greystone Development.
Construction on 321 Warren Street, aka The Lively, has reached the eighteenth and final floor over downtown Jersey City. As of YIMBY’s last update back in early November, the mixed-use tower had just climbed above the double-height ground floor space, reaching the fifth floor. Three months later, the reinforced concrete structure is almost at its pinnacle. The building is being designed by Fogarty Finger Architecture and developed by LMC. There will be 217,000 square feet of interior space when completed.
The massive rectangular-shaped project taking up a full block at 85 Jay Street has officially been dubbed “Front and York,” and today YIMBY has a full update on site progress. Bound by Front Street and York Street in DUMBO, Brooklyn, the 1.1 million square foot residential complex will soon sprout from what was one of the neighborhood’s last and largest undeveloped lots. The new building, with retail shops on the ground floor and a mixture of condominiums and rentals above, is designed by Morris Adjmi Architects, and is being developed by CIM Group and LIVWRK.
