Asbury Park will soon be home to a new rental apartment building at 115 Fourth Avenue, just one block away from the city’s iconic boardwalk. Inspired by Somerset Development is the entity behind the project and Minno & Wasko Architects and Planners will oversee design.
Construction is complete on FÖRENA, a 12-story residential building at 540 Sixth Avenue in Chelsea. Designed by Morris Adjmi Architects and developed by Landsea Homes and DNA Development, the 80,000-square-foot structure contains 50 condominium units in one- to three-bedroom layouts with pricing starting at $1.575 million, and ground-floor retail space. Fredrik Eklund and John Gomes of The Eklund Gomes Team and The Tuinstra-Davis Team at Douglas Elliman are leading sales and marketing for the property, which was built by Ryder Construction at the corner of West 14th Street and Sixth Avenue on the border with Greenwich Village.
Namdar Group has closed on a $160 million bridge loan for 9 Homestead Place, a 27-story residential tower at 618 Pavonia Avenue in Jersey City. Designed by C3D Architecture, the structure will yield 432 rental apartments, 10,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space, a 21,000-square-foot office component, and a collection of amenity spaces.
Construction is now underway at 97 Glenmore Avenue, the site of a forthcoming affordable housing development in Brownsville, Brooklyn. The building will debut as Glenmore Manor led by private real estate company Brisa Builders Development, non-profit community developer African American Planning Commission Inc., and affordable housing owner-developer Lemle & Wolff Companies.
Curtain wall installation has begun on 200 East 20th Street, a 19-story residential building in Gramercy Park, Manhattan. Designed by CetraRuddy and developed by Glacier Global Partners, the 210-foot-tall structure will yield 82,800 square feet with 52 condominium units spread across 65,500 square feet and 2,730 square feet of retail space. CM & Associates Construction Management is the general contractor for the property, which is located at the southeast corner of East 20th Street and Third Avenue.
