Construction Elevators Coming Down on 15, 30, and 35 Hudson Yards as Equinox Hotel Opens

Work on 15, 30, and 35 Hudson Yards in the first phase of Related Companies’ master plan is wrapping up, as the construction elevator hoists on the exterior of the skyscrapers are in the process of being dismantled. The fast pace of construction at the $25 billion Midtown site was followed by a number of milestone completions, dedication ceremonies, and openings. 15 Hudson Yards is designed by Diller Scofidio + Renfro and Rockwell Group, 30 Hudson Yards by Kohn Pedersen Fox, and 35 Hudson Yards by Skidmore Owings & Merrill.

YIMBY Checks in on FXCollaborative’s 31-Story Mixed-Use Tower at 185 Broadway in the Financial District

YIMBY went to check on the construction progress at 185 Broadway, a new 31-story residential tower in the Financial District designed by FXCollaborative and developed by SL Green. The 260,000-square-foot mixed-use tower is located at the southwestern corner of Dey Street and Broadway, directly next to one of the entrances to the Fulton Street subway station. Pilings and excavation are currently happening.

Excavation and foundation work is nearing completion at 75 West Broadway, aka 61 Warren Street in Tribeca, the site of a forthcoming ten-story, 120-foot-tall residential complex. Located on the western edge of the parcel between Warren Street and Murray Street, the 55,000-square-foot project is being designed by BKSK Architects and developed by Cape Advisors and Forum Absolute Capital Partners.

Demolition Wraps for Two New Residential Skyscrapers at 601 West 29th Street, Next to Hudson Yards

Demolition has completed at the site of 601 West 29th Street in Hudson Yards for an upcoming 695-foot-tall, 58-story skyscraper designed by FXCollaborative and developed by Douglaston Development. Meanwhile, the adjacent lot is almost cleared for a 520-foot-tall, 42-story tower at 606 West 30th Street, which is being developed by Lalezarian Properties and designed by Ismael Leyva Architects. The two structures will share the parcel of land between 29th Street and 30th Street to the west of Eleventh Avenue.
