The Landmarks Preservation Commission is scheduled to hold a remote public hearing to review the exterior restoration of a landmarked structure and the construction of a 20-story mixed-use residential building in Tribeca, Manhattan. The existing landmarked property is located at 315 Broadway, and the new residential building will debut as 317 Broadway.
Construction is wrapping up at 65 Graham Avenue, a six-story mixed-use building near the southeastern boundary of Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Designed by Bricolage Design Associates and developed by Graham Raflico Associates, the property will yield a mix of market-rate rentals, ground-floor retail space, and a community facility.
Proposals from Camber Property Group reveal a massive expansion of Stevenson Commons, a mixed-income residential complex in the Soundview section of The Bronx. If approved by New York City’s Department of City Planning, the expansion will establish six new buildings with a sizable portion of residences reserved for senior demographics.
Applications recently received by Jersey City’s City Planning Division reveal a new 27-story mixed-use building. The proposed development is located in the city’s Journal Square neighborhood at 415-435 Summit Avenue.
Façade work is making progress on 232 East 54th Street, a 420-foot-tall residential tower in Midtown East. The 40-story structure is designed by Ismael Leyva Architects, and Elk Investors is last reported to be its exclusive developer, though ownership may have fully transferred to Mossanen Group and an LLC known as East 54th St. Properties. The topped-out tower rises between Second and Third Avenues, not far from landmarks like the Lipstick Building and 601 Lexington Avenue, formerly known as the Citigroup Center.
