This week, the New York City Council approved plans for Hallets North, a three-tower residential development that will create 1,340 apartments in Queens. Located in Astoria, the Hallets North development site comprises an assemblage of lots along 26th Avenue between Third and Fourth Streets.
The Jersey City Planning Board has a approved a pair of high-rise residential towers along the waterfront edge of Jersey City. Located at 50 and 55 Hudson Street, the towers are the latest residential development from global investment bank Goldman Sachs and are expected to create 1,941 residential units, set atop a large retail component, an amenity deck, and public plazas.
Construction has topped out on 69 Adams Street, a 26-story residential building in DUMBO, Brooklyn. Designed by Fariba Makooi of Fischer + Makooi Architects and developed by The Rabsky Group, the 280-foot-tall structure will yield 225 units in studio to two-bedroom layouts spread across 258,200 square feet as well as 60 feet of retail frontage, a 25-foot-long rear yard, and 61 parking spaces. Galaxy Developers is the general contractor for the property, which is bound by Front Street to the north, York Street to the south, the elevated Manhattan Bridge roadway to the east, and Adams Street to the west.
Accurate, a New Jersey-based developer, recently celebrated the commencement of construction for The Crossings at the Fairfield Metro Center in Fairfield, Connecticut. The complex will include five residential buildings, 357 apartments, a new 118-key hotel, more than 20,000 square feet of retail space, roughly 50,000 square feet of office space, and parking areas for residents and guests.
Excavation is progressing at 200 East 20th Street, the site of a 19-story residential building in the Gramercy Park section of Manhattan. Designed by CetraRuddy and developed by Glacier Global Partners, the 210-foot-tall structure will yield 82,800 square feet with 52 condominium units spread across 65,500 square feet and 2,730 square feet of retail space. CM & Associates Construction Management is the general contractor for the property, which is located at the corner of East 20th Street and Third Avenue.
