Five-Story, 165-Unit Residential Project Rising At 267 Rogers Avenue, Crown Heights

Last April, YIMBY reported foundation work was underway at 267 Rogers Avenue, in western Crown Heights, where Heights Advisors is developing a five-story, 165-unit residential building, and now the structure is three floors above the street level, per Curbed. Units will average a rental-sized 679 square feet. Think Architecture and Design is the architect of record, and completion is slated for later this year.

Four Semi-Detached Townhouses Planned At 443 Lincoln Avenue, Midland Beach, Staten Island

A Staten Island-based LLC has filed applications for a semi-detached, four-unit residential development at 443 Lincoln Avenue, in Midland Beach, on Staten Island’s southern shore. Each two-story townhouse will measure 1,200 square feet, and Frank Martarella’s Think Design Architecture is designing. The site isn’t very accessible, located 10 blocks from SIRR’s Grand City stop. Demolition commenced on the existing single-story home in June.


178 Foster Road

Two Stories, Four Residential Units Coming To 178 Foster Road, Prince’s Bay, Staten Island

Staten Island-based Brandon Property Group has filed applications for twin two-story, multi-family residential buildings at 178 Foster Road, in Prince’s Bay, on Staten Island’s southern shore. Located seven blocks from the SIRR station, each building will house two units, and each unit will span an entire floor averaging 1,328 square feet. Staten Island-based Calvanico Associates is the architect of record, and an old single-family home was demolished in July.


3109 Buhre Avenue

Seven-Story, 18-Unit Market-Rate Residential Project Filed At 3109 Buhre Avenue, Pelham Bay

Sharon Hakmon, head of Kew Gardens-based H Holding Group, has filed applications for a seven-story, 18-unit residential building at 3109 Buhre Avenue, in Middletown-Pelham Bay. Located in the East Bronx, three blocks from the 6 train’s Buhre Avenue stop, the building will measure 19,768 square feet. That means market-rate unit will average nearly 1,100 square feet a piece. The prolific Queens-based Gerald Caliendo is the architect of record, and demolition permits were filed in July to remove the existing two-family home.
