Construction is reaching the finish line on 145 Perry Street, a four-story private mansion in Manhattan’s West Village. Designed by Leroy Street Studio with Robert Silman Associates as the structural engineer, the structure will yield 30,000 square feet. Edmund Hollander Design is the landscape architect and Sciame Construction is the construction manager for the property, which is alternately addressed as 703-711 Washington Street and located at the corner of Perry and Washington Streets.

Permits have been updated for 806 East 170th Street, a seven-story residential building in Crotona Park East, The Bronx. Initial permits from Hershy Silberstein of Blue Shine Builders Inc. in 2022 called for a 44-unit structure under the 421A tax abatement program, which incentivized multi-family housing to be built on vacant or underutilized lots. Under the post-approval amendment (PAA), the scope has been expanded to 110 dwelling units. Because it went through a PAA process and a new permit was not issued, it will retain its 421A tax status, even though the program ended in June 2022.

456-Unit Building Tops Out at 1057 Atlantic Avenue in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn

Construction has topped out on 1057 Atlantic Avenue, a 17-story residential building in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn. Designed by dencityworks and developed by Douglaston Development, the sprawling 474,000-square-foot structure will yield 456 rental apartments in studio to three-bedroom layouts, with 137 units reserved for affordable housing, as well as 35,000 square feet of amenities and 31,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space. Levine Builders is the general contractor for the $320 million project, which was formerly addressed as 1045 Atlantic Avenue and is located between Classon and Franklin Avenues.
