Permits have been filed for a ten-story mixed-use building at 70-65 Queens Boulevard, in Elmhurst, Queens. The site is eight blocks away from the Elmhurst Avenue subway station, serviced by the E, M, and R trains. Skyhill III Group is behind the applications.
The recently completed office-to-residential conversion of 180 Water Street has officially leased 95% of its residential units. Located in the Financial District, the Metro Loft-developed property only has 25 vacant apartments remaining.
Construction at 150 Rivington Street on Manhattan’s Lower East Side has moved along quickly. YIMBY last reported on the site’s progress in January, when the structure was just two stories high. Now, the building has topped-out, at seven stories. Cogswell Lee Development is responsible for the project, which replaces the former Streitz Matzo Factory.
A proposal has been submitted to the city for a re-zoning at 55-63 Summit Street, in Brooklyn’s Columbia Waterfront District, accompanied by the first renderings of what that could ultimately yield. The affected area is currently classified as M1-1, and the proposal would change that to R6B.

The site is seven blocks away from the Sheepshead Bay Subway Station, serviced by the B and Q trains. Rafael Rahamim of Savion Construction Inc will be responsible for the development.
