Full demolition permits have been filed for 1305-1307 Third Avenue and 202 East 75th Street on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. Located at the southeast corner of Third Avenue and East 75th Street, the 8,178-square-foot site has 101 feet of street frontage.
Demolition preparations have begun at 266 West 96th Street, the site of a 23-story residential building on Manhattan’s Upper West Side. Developed by Fetner Properties, the structure is planned to yield 171 apartments, with 91 regular-sized homes and 80 micro units marketed to seniors ranging from 290 to 340 square feet each. Sixty-eight apartments would be allocated toward permanent affordable housing, while all residents would be provided free amenity access that includes a health club. The site is located between Broadway and West End Avenue.
This week, development partners Kushner Real Estate Group and National Real Estate Advisors celebrated the opening of the second rental skyscraper at Journal Squared. Located at 537 Summit Avenue in Jersey City, the new 68-story tower stands 754 feet tall and comprises 704 residences.
Exterior work is progressing on 212 West 93rd Street, a 14-story condominium building on Manhattan’s Upper West Side. Located between Broadway and Amsterdam Avenues, the 65,000-square-foot project is designed by Eran Chen, head of ODA, and developed by Landsea Homes and Leyton Properties, which acquired the 9,000-square-foot plot from the Shaare Zedek Congregation for $34.3 million. It was last reported that the property will yield 20 units designed by GRADE New York and marketed by The Lindsey Stokes Team, a division of real estate brokerage Compass.
Construction is now topped out at The Henry, a new rental property at 2395 Palisade Avenue in the Spuyten Duyvil neighborhood of The Bronx. The building will eventually comprise 55 apartments, a sub-grade parking lot, a communal lounge, a fitness center, and a shared roof deck with outdoor cooking areas and a landscaped garden.
