The Westchester County Industrial Development Agency (IDA) recently approved Toll Brothers‘ $32 million acquisition of development rights and financial incentives for The Collection, a mixed-use development on the eastern edge of downtown White Plains.
Permits have been filed for a seven-story residential building at 160 Clarkson Avenue in Flatbush, Brooklyn. Located between Bedford Avenue and Rogers Avenue, the lot is located two blocks from the Winthrop Street subway station, serviced by the 2 and 5 trains. The development is also near the Parkside Avenue station, serviced by the Q train. Ephraim Heimfield under the PLG Estates LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
Permits have been filed for an eight-story residential building at 1701 Purdy Street in Parkchester, The Bronx. Located at the intersection of Parker Street and Purdy Street, the lot is near the Castle Hill Avenue subway station, serviced by the 6 train. Olshan Properties is listed as the owner behind the applications.
Work on No.33 Park Row, aka “Pearl on the Park,” has been making steady progress in the Financial District. Most of the floor-to-ceiling glass panels are now in place, with dark-colored steel frames enhancing the visual appearance. The 25-story apartment building is being designed by Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners while Centurion Real Estate Partners is collaborating with Urban Muse to develop the corner site. The 331-foot-tall tower will contain 31 units.
Following nearly a dozen years of urban planning and construction costs in excess of $15 billion, the Hudson Yards mega development’s first phase is rounding the corner toward completion as its commercial, retail, and residential properties hit the market. Related Companies has opened three model units at 35 Hudson Yards, the second residential skyscraper within the new West Side neighborhood.
