Renderings have been released for Chelsea Canvas, a 14-story residential building at 280 West 24th Street in Chelsea, Manhattan. Designed by FXCollaborative, the structure yields 190 units in studio to three-bedrooms layouts with interiors by INC Architecture and Design. Select apartments feature private terraces. The building’s move-in is set for this month, and leasing has launched for the property, which is located along Eighth Avenue between West 23rd and West 24th Streets.

Located between Avenue D and 65th Street, the lot is three blocks from the Bay Parkway subway station, serviced by the N train. The Harper Completes Construction At 310 East 86th Street On Manhattan’s Upper East Side

Construction is complete on The Harper, a 21-story residential building at 310 East 86th Street in the Yorkville section of the Upper East Side. Designed by ODA Architecture and developed by Izaki Group Investments (IGI-USA), the 145,000-square-foot structure yields 63 condominium units in two- to four-bedroom layouts with prices starting at $2.1 million, as well as ground-floor retail space. Hunter Roberts Construction Group served as the general contractor and CORE is handling sales and marketing for the property, which is located between First and Second Avenues.

New Rendering Revealed For 29-15 40th Road in Long Island City, Queens

A new rendering has been revealed for 29-15 40th Road, an upcoming 12-story residential building in Long Island City, Queens. Few details have been made public about the project, which is being designed by Fogarty Finger Architects and developed by SB Development, which also acquired the adjacent lot at 29-13 40th Road for $8.7 million last fall. LIC 40th Avenue Owner LLC is listed as the owner and SBGC LLC is the general contractor for the property, which is located on an interior lot bound by 40th Avenue to the north and 40th Road to the south.

The Summit Tower Receives Zoning Approval at 200-208 Market Street in Newark, New Jersey

The City of Newark Zoning Board has granted approval for the construction of the Summit Tower, a 41-story residential skyscraper planned for 200-208 Market Street in Newark, New Jersey. Designed by INOA Architecture and developed by KS Group, the 515-foot-tall structure will yield 514 units, with 20 percent of the inventory reserved for affordable housing, as well as 142 valet-operated parking spaces. The property will span the block between Market Street and Edison Place, which is directly adjacent to Prudential Center. The project has also previously secured approvals from the Federal Aviation Administration and the Newark Landmark Historic Preservation Commission.

Exterior Work Wraps Up on 250 East 83rd Street on Manhattan’s Upper East Side

Construction is finishing up on 250 East 83rd Street, a 31-story residential tower in the Yorkville section of Manhattan’s Upper East Side. Designed by SLCE Architects and developed by The Torkian Group, the 370-foot-tall structure will span 215,608 square feet and yield 128 rental units with interiors by Lemay_id, as well as ground-floor retail space. Cauldwell Wingate Company is the general contractor for the property, which is located at the corner of Second Avenue and East 83rd Street.

Mason Tops Out at 40-46 24th Street in Long Island City, Queens

Construction has topped out on Mason, a six-story mixed-use building at 40-46 24th Street in Long Island City, Queens. Designed by MY Architect P.C. and developed by ZD Jasper Realty under the 23-17 41 Ave Development LLC, the 72-foot-tall structure will span 37,588 square feet and yield 42 condominium units in studio to two-bedroom layouts, as well as 7,551 square feet of commercial space, a cellar level, and 21 enclosed parking spaces. Celtic Services NYC Inc. is the general contractor for the property, which is alternately addressed as 23-17 41st Avenue and located at the corner of 41st Avenue and 24th Street.

New Renderings Unveiled for 1100 Myrtle Avenue in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn

New renderings have been revealed in time for the marketing launch of The MC, an 11-story residential building at 1100 Myrtle Avenue in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn. Developed by Shorewood Real Estate Group and designed by Hill West Architects as the architect of record and the design architect, and Alchemy Studio as the interior designer, The MC will yield 233 rental apartments with 70 units reserved for affordable housing, as well as a 29,000-square-foot Food Bazaar supermarket and a parking garage. Corcoran New Development is the exclusive marketing and leasing agent for the property, which is alternately addressed as 371 Vernon Avenue and spans an entire block from Myrtle Avenue to Vernon Avenue along the border with Bushwick.

439 West 36th Street Readies for Excavation in Hudson Yards, Manhattan

Excavation is set to begin at 439 West 36th Street, the site of a 12-story residential building in Hudson Yards, Manhattan. Designed by Archimaera Architecture and developed and built by ZD Jasper Realty under the ZDJ 36LLC, the 120-foot-tall structure will span 48,138 square feet and yield 52 units, recreation space on the roof and in the cellar level, a below-grade community facility, and ground-floor commercial space. The project is being financed by Johnny Su of Real Estate Capital of America (RECAP) and is located on a 75-foot-wide interior lot between Dyer Avenue to the east and Tenth Avenue to the west.

100 Boerum Place Awaits Groundbreaking in Boerum Hill, Brooklyn

Demolition is complete at 100 Boerum Place, the site of a 60,000-square-foot residential building in Boerum Hill, Brooklyn. The project is being designed by Brent Buck Architects and developed by Avdoo & Partners Development, which purchased the property from Hidrock Properties under the 110 BP Property LLC, and will rise from an assemblage of two parcels with a combined buildable space of 34,880 square feet and 3,200 square feet of air rights. ALBA Services was the demolition contractor for the project, which is bound by Pacific Street to the northeast, Boerum Place to the southeast, and Dean Street to the southwest.
