25 Park Row’s Final Floors Rising Above The Financial District As Work Nears 665-Foot Parapet

Once the site of the electronic and music store J&R, 25 Park Row has risen tremendously quick above City Hall Park and the Lower Manhattan skyline in the past year alone. Excavation and foundation work only began in 2017, but the halfway mark for construction was reached in early August. Since then, a new rendering of the 49-story and 665-foot residential skyscraper has been revealed, and work has progressed to the final upper floors directly below the extruded crown that tops the building.

Rendering Revealed for 272 Jefferson Street, Bushwick, Brooklyn

Permits for 272 Jefferson Street were first covered in November of 2015, and approved in May of 2016. Now, the architects have released a rendering for what’s to come for the four-story Bushwick condominium building. Stat Architecture is responsible for the design. The site is two blocks away from the Maria Hernandez Park, and three blocks is the Jefferson Street subway station, serviced by the L trains.

Currently nearing the 1,100-foot elevation mark above West 57th Street, Central Park Tower is well on its way to a 1,550-foot pinnacle above the Midtown skyline and Billionaire’s Row. Now, the Adrian Smith + Gordon Gill designed tower at 217 West 57th Street has officially launched sales of the 179 units that will begin on the 32nd floor, and conclude with a triplex penthouse spanning over 17,000 square feet. Sales are being handled by Extell‘s in-house team.

720 West End Avenue’s Morris Adjmi-Designed Conversion And Expansion Heads to LPC, Upper West Side

As the buildings in the Upper West Side continue to age, Brack Capital is filing plans to bring 720 West End Avenue into the 21st century. The proposal for the Landmark Preservation Commission would reconstruct interiors, enlarge the original structure upward by one story, which would be invisible to pedestrians, and fill in the lot beside it with an eight-story addition. The plan would bring over 120 new residences to the area, with design by Morris Adjmi Architects.
