Last month, YIMBY reported on permits for three lots, at 578, 580, and 582nd East 138th Street, in Mott Haven, The Bronx. Now, we have the renderings by OMF Architect PC. The façade uses a simple design scheme with contrasts of white, black, and gray to cleanly articulate its shape.
YIMBY has been reporting on 111 Murray Street for several years at this point, and after breaking ground in July of 2015, it was at its fifteenth floor at this time last year. By August, it had topped-out, and glass had climbed over halfway up the exterior. Now, almost three months later, the crown is falling into place, and the 58-story and 800-foot-tall tower appears to be on track for an expected 2018 completion, as seen in the latest photographs from Tectonic.
Downtown Brooklyn’s 15 Lafayette Avenue has risen to its full height, with façade installation now complete. Photographs by Tectonic reveal that the structure now stands its full 12 stories, and the exterior has been fully installed. The 138-foot tall building was designed by Dattner Architects, and interiors are not yet finished.
Permits have been filed for an eight-story mixed-use building at 700 Manida Street, in Hunts Point, The Bronx. Hunts Point is a relatively secluded peninsula within the Bronx, with a population just over 27,000. The closest subway station is the 6 train stop on Bruckner Boulevard, with the furthest end of the peninsula being a 45-minute walk away. MHANY Management is developing the project.
Permits have been filed for Avery Hall Investment’s two-building development in Park Slope, Brooklyn. YIMBY last reported on the pre-filing for the six-story building at 680 Baltic Street in mid-October. Now, we also see specifics for the four-story 126 Fifth Avenue building. AHI is developing both buildings.
