Property owner Gjergj Lunaj has filed applications for two three-story, four-unit residential buildings spanning 817-819 East 218th Street, in Williamsbridge. The eight residential units will be divided over 7,140 square feet of residential space, and Fred Geremia is designing. The existing 2.5-story, two-unit wood-framed structure was approved for demolition in February.
Brownstoner took some photos of rebar and foundation going in at 51-59 South 4th Street, in Williamsburg, where KUB Capital is building six townhouses dubbed Wythe Lane Townhouses. Each townhouse will measure 3,800 square feet, and a few are already in contract for multi-million dollar prices. Completion is expected by the end of 2015.

Curbed has the reveal for The Amirian Group’s planned 12-story, nine-unit residential building at 117 West 21st Street, in eastern Chelsea. The site is currently occupied by a four-story commercial structure, but the developer plans to expand upon the existing building rather than demolish it. GRADE Architecture is designing, and the developer acquired the site for $28.5 million in March.
