A Brooklyn-based property owner has filed applications for a four-story, five-unit residential building at 863 East 12th Street, in the northern end of Midwood. The project will measure 6,448 square feet and its full-floor residential units should average 939 square feet apiece. There will be five off-street parking spaces, one of which will be housed on the ground floor of the building. David Nagan’s Fresh Meadows-based firm is the architect of record. The 4,000-square-foot lot is occupied by a two-story house. Demolition permits have not been filed.
Construction has topped out and façade installation is well underway on the 30-story, 104-unit mixed-use building under development at 200 East 95th Street, located on the corner of Third Avenue on the Upper East Side. The latest building permits indicate the building, dubbed The Kent, encompasses 317,664 square feet and rises 392 feet to its pinnacle.

Tamares Development’s 38,568-square-foot project contains a light manufacturing facility at ground level and 32 residential units above. RSVP Architecture Studio is responsible for the industrial-inspired, dark-paneled design. Foremost Contracting & Building, LLC serves as the general contractor.
Last time we reported on 120 Nassau Street, construction had reached 24 stories. The 33-story, 312,093 square-foot tower, at the intersection of Jay and Nassau streets in Downtown Brooklyn, has topped out and façade installation is well underway.
