The site is eight blocks away from the Church Avenue subway station, serviced by the F and G trains, and nine blocks away from the 9th Avenue subway station, serviced by the D trains. Mina Group LLC is behind the applications.

The filing confirms that the lot has changed ownership since YIMBY covered earlier plans in 2016. The Avenue U subway station is on the block, serviced by the F train. Astoria-based Vardo Construction Corporation is listed as behind the applications.
A four-story residential building will soon rise at 171 Lefferts Place, in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn. The 2,900 square foot lot currently sits vacant between two low-rise, multi-family residences.
