Allstate Ventures has announced that The Alary, a 28-story rental tower at 33 Westchester Place in New Rochelle, is nearing completion with pre-leasing now underway. Designed by Fogarty Finger Architects, the project yields 315 residences. It is the final phase of Westchester Place, a three-building, arts-centered development, and joins The Arc and The Atelier in completing this mixed-use district.

200 Douglass Street Awaits Groundbreaking in Gowanus, Brooklyn

Construction has yet to commence at 200 Douglass Street, the site of a proposed 22-story residential tower in Gowanus, Brooklyn. Designed by Ismael Leyva Architects and developed by Midwood Investment & Development, the 225-foot-tall structure will span 300,000 square feet and yield 270 rental units with an average scope of 750 square feet. The development will also include 19,000 square feet of retail space and 42 enclosed parking spaces. The property is bound by Douglass Street to the north, DeGraw Street to the south, and Bond Street to the west.

Construction is nearing completion on 45-02 Queens Boulevard, an eight-story residential building in Sunnyside, Queens. Designed by My Architect PC and developed by Ampiera Group, the 83-foot-tall structure spans 57,771 square feet and will yield 63 rental units with an average scope of 781 square feet. The development will also feature 8,532 square feet of commercial space, 25 enclosed parking spaces, a cellar level, and a 47-foot-long rear yard. Thirteen of the residential units will be designated as affordable housing. The property is located on a 13,035-square-foot parcel at the corner of Queens Boulevard and 45th Street.
