15 Hudson Yards is a 910-foot tall structure, and the first residential skyscraper to be completed in the massive $25 billion Hudson Yards complex developed by Related Companies. With LEED Gold status, the new 88-story glass tower spans 960,000 square feet, and was designed by Diller Scofidio + Renfro in collaboration with the Rockwell Group. Ismael Leyva Architects served as the architect of record. David Rockwell recently led an exclusive tour, showcasing the building’s 40,000 square feet of amenity spaces on its 50th and 51st floors, followed by a question and answer session with architect Elizabeth Diller.
In a surprising and exclusive reveal, YIMBY has the scoop for new renderings offering a first look at LeFrak’s waterfront development at 700 Washington Boulevard, in Jersey City. While the developer has released little information about the project, updated illustrations appear to match preliminary renderings made public in 2017, following approvals from the State of New Jersey.

Located between Stanwix Street and Bushwick Avenue, the vacant lot is just off major thoroughfare Flushing Avenue. Five blocks east of the Flushing Avenue subway station, serviced by the M and J trains. Juan Ramos of Southside United HDFC is listed as the owner behind the applications. The community organization offers resources in the Williamsburg neighborhood including affordable housing, tenant organization, community outreach, a senior residential center, and a local food pantry. They previously filed permits in 2017 for affordable senior housing at the same site.
Permits have been filed for a five-story apartment building at 114 15th Street, in Brooklyn. Located in Gowanus on the interior block between 3rd Avenue and 4th Avenue, the lot is two blocks north of the Prospect Avenue subway station, serviced by the R train. Also nearby is the 4th Avenue-9th Street subway station, serviced by the F and G trains. Bob Delidimitriou of Delidakis Construction Co. is listed as the owner behind the applications.
Directly across the street from Bloomingdale’s, 143-155 East 60th Street, or 151 East 60th Street, was supposed to give rise to a residential supertall on the southern edge of the Upper East Side. The assemblage has seen impressive design proposals released by both Archillier Architecture and Kohn Pedersen Fox. Demolition of six low-rise buildings began in the summer of 2017, after permits were filed. However, since then, activity has come to a grinding halt, and it appears that the site is the latest casualty of New York City’s Chinese-led development bust.
