Seven-Story, Seven-Unit Condo Project At 152 Elizabeth Street Lands Financing, Nolita

This past spring, The New York Times revealed full renderings of Sumaida + Khurana’s planned seven-story, seven-unit condominium project at 152-154 Elizabeth Street, in Nolita, the same time crews began demolition work on the existing four-story building. Now the developer has landed a $40 million construction loan. The building will have 26,012 square feet of residential space, and units will average a luxury 3,716 square feet apiece. Tadao Ando is the project’s design architect, while Gabellini Sheppard Associates is the applicant of record, and completion is expected in November 2016.

Infill Three-Story, Two-Unit Residential Project Filed At 716 Ditmas Avenue, Kensington

Property owner Hongwei Zhang, based in Little Neck, Queens, has filed applications for a three-story, two-unit residential building at 716 Ditmas Avenue, in southern Kensington, located seven blocks east of the F train. The building will total 3,173 square feet, and one unit will take up the first and second floors, while a second unit will occupy the third floor. Sugnam Chang’s Bensonhurst-based Basic Groups Corp. is the applicant of record.


322 Robinson Avenue

Three Stories, Four Residential Units Planned At 322 Robinson Avenue, Eltingville, Staten Island

Staten Island-based Andrew Esposito has filed applications for twin three-story, two-unit residential buildings spanning the lots at 322-326 Robinson Avenue, in Eltingville (on Staten Island’s South Shore). The four total residential units will average 960 square feet apiece, and each unit will have one off-street parking spot. Stanley Krebushevski’s SMK Architect is the applicant of record, and permits were filed in July to demolish the existing single-family home.
