Filings Submitted For 24-Story, 62-Unit Condo Redevelopment At 100 Vandam Street, Hudson Square

Very early this year, YIMBY brought you renderings of Jeff Greene’s planned 24-story, 62-unit residential development at 100 Vandam Street, in Hudson Square, and now the developer has filed applications for the COOKFOX-designed project. The existing six-story, 55,300 square-foot former factory building will be expanded to 156,629 square feet via a 19-story vertical extension. Of the total square-footage, 2,311 square feet of space will be designated for ground-floor retail. Condos will average a spacious 2,457 square feet each, and a duplex penthouse unit will span the 23rd and 24th floors, according to the Schedule A. The Real Deal was the first to report on the filings.

Flushing-based V&M Property Holdings has filed applications for a four-story, seven-unit residential building at 168-05 Depot Road, in Broadway-Flushing. That’s between Murray Hill and Auburndale, located four blocks from the neighborhood’s Long Island Rail Road station. The project will measure 5,916 square feet, which works out to units averaging 845 square feet apiece. Queens-based Gerald Caliendo is the architect of record. An existing two-story brick building must first be demolished.

Omri Bar-Mashiah has filed applications for a five-story, four-unit residential project at 316 12th Street, in southern Park Slope, four blocks from subway stops on the R, F, and G trains. Residential units will surely be condos, given they will average 1,233 square feet apiece in the 4,932 square-foot structure. The fifth-floor penthouse will be associated with the unit spanning the fourth floor. Woody Chen’s Elmhurst-based Infocus Design & Planning is the applicant of record. Demolition permits were recently filed for the two-story house presently occupying the site.

The unit on the fourth floor will also feature a fifth-floor penthouse, and Woody Chen’s Elmhurst-based Infocus Design & Planning is the applicant of record. The existing three-story townhouse was recently filed for demolition.

West End Collegiate Church To Create New Residential Presence At 378 West End Avenue, Upper West Side

The West End Collegiate Church will get the money it needs from a project approved by the Landmarks Preservation Commission on Tuesday. The church, an individual landmark located at 245 West 77th Street, has bought the property to its north from the Collegiate School, at 260 West 78th Street, where an existing structure will be demolished. It will be replaced by a new residential building that will be connected internally to a restored and expanded 378 West End Avenue.
