Work is charging toward the finish line at 25 Park Row, a 50-story residential skyscraper that has topped out over the Financial District. The curtain wall is rapidly rising and closing in on the nearly completed crown. The project is being designed by COOKFOX Architects and developed by L+M Development Partners. Sales for the 110 residences have already launched and are being handled and marketed by Corcoran Sunshine Marketing Group.

First Phase of a 33-Townhouse Complex Nears Completion at 211-35 23rd Avenue in Bayside, Queens

Queens-based developer Cord Meyer Development has nearly completed the first phase of a new multi-building residential complex in Bayside, Queens. The four-story property is located at 211-35 23rd Avenue and replaces a long-vacant green space across from the Bay Terrace Shopping Center. When complete, the entire complex will comprise 33 two-family townhouses.

Excavation Continues for SHoP’s Supertall at 9 DeKalb Avenue in Downtown Brooklyn

Excavation is progressing at 9 DeKalb Avenue in Downtown Brooklyn, the site of the borough’s first supertall. The 1,066-foot-tall tower is designed by SHoP Architects and developed by JDS, which secured $664 million in funding for the project several months ago from Otéra Capital Inc. and Silverstein Capital Partners. The 73-story residential tower  will eventually become the tallest structure in Brooklyn, as well as the first tower in the outer boroughs to pass the 300-meter supertall threshold.
