Air Rights Assembled For 900’+ Condo Tower At 426 East 58th Street, Midtown East

Bauhouse Group has acquired 109,000 square feet of additional air rights for their development site spanning 426-432 East 58th Street, in Midtown East, for $37.9 million. The most recently released plans depict a 95-unit Foster + Partners-designed condominium tower, measuring 268,000 square feet and standing over 900 feet tall. The developer is moving forward with an as-of-right project, according to The Real Deal.


747 East 133rd Street

Four Stories, 24 Residential Units Planned At 747 East 133rd Street, Port Morris

Bronx-based Altmark Group has filed applications, originally submitted to the DOB in 2013, for three four-story residential buildings at 747-751 East 133rd Street, in Port Morris, six blocks from the 6 train’s Cypress Avenue stop. The development will include a total of 24 residential units spread across 17,328 square feet, for units averaging a rental-sized 722 square feet. Shahriar Afshari is the applicant of record.


139 Grove Street

Four-Story, Eight-Unit Residential Building Coming To 139 Grove Street, Bushwick

RDG Queens X LLC has filed applications for a four-story, eight-unit residential building at 139 Grove Street, in central Bushwick, four blocks from the J/Z train’s Gates Avenue stop. The building will measure a total 7,695 square feet, which works out to units averaging 960 square feet. Sion Hourizadeh’s Sion Associates is the applicant of record, and the existing two-story, two-unit townhouse was filed for demolition in July.

On Rockaway Beach Boulevard near the Rockaway Park A train stop, a block and a half of storefronts burned down and were battered by storm surges during Hurricane Sandy three years ago. But now the strip between Beach 115th and 113th Streets is about to see some new life. Applications were filed today for two three-story, mixed-use buildings at 114-06 and 114-30 Rockaway Beach Boulevard, about a mile and a half west of the Cross Bay Bridge that links the peninsula with Howard Beach in Queens.
