Red Apple Group Secures Construction Loans for 32-Story Tower at 86 Fleet Place

Revealed by YIMBY last October, Red Apple Group has succeeded in securing $155 million in loan for the 32-story, 440-unit mixed-use building planned for 86 Fleet Place, in Downtown Brooklyn, per The Real Deal. The 395,000 square-foot tower will include 10,000 square feet of retail space, and ground breaking is likely now imminent.

Skadden Signs 550,000 Square-Foot Lease at 1 Manhattan West

The Real Deal reports that law firm Skadden has signed a 20-year lease for 550,000 square feet at Brookfield Property Partners’ 1 Manhattan West, located at 401 9th Avenue, on the West Side. Construction will begin immediately on the 69-story, 2.1-million square-foot office tower, and opening is scheduled for 2019.

Excavation Underway at 1324 Fulton Street, Site of 10-Story Mixed-Use Project

The Bed Stuy Blog has noticed that excavation is well underway at 1320-1328 Fulton Street, on the southern edge of Bedford-Stuyvesant, where a 10-story, 57-unit mixed-use building is being prepared. Fulton Street South Redevelopment Company broke ground late last year, and completion is expected in February 2016, per on-site signage.

Frank Petruso is designing, and the lot previously accommodated a three-story structure, sometime demolished over the last few decades.

Three-Family Residential Building Planned for 485 Union Street in Gowanus

Brownstoner has spotted schematics posted on-site at the vacant lot of 485 Union Street, in Gowanus, where a four-story, three-unit residential building measuring nearly 3,900 square feet is planned. The adjacent properties are also under ownership of Anthony Mannino, the developer, and AE Design Solution is designing. Per signage, completion is expected in June 2016.
