The Department of Buildings and Landmarks Preservation Commission have approved plans to convert a warehouse at 107 South Street into a mixed-use residential property. Located in Lower Manhattan’s historic Seaport District, the building was previously occupied by a fish trading house, supplying seafood daily to the Fulton Market before it was relocated in 2005.
Permits have been filed for an eight-story community facility building at 23 Brighton 11th Street in Brighton Beach, Brooklyn. Located between Ocean View Avenue and Cass Place, the lot is near the Sheepshead Bay subway station, serviced by the B and Q trains. Natalya Zagranichny is listed as the owner behind the applications.
Demolition is wrapping up at 183 Chrystie Street, the site of a 17-story residential building on Manhattan’s Lower East Side. Designed by GF55 Partners and developed by Omnia Group and Naveh Shuster, the 175-foot-tall structure will span 75,000 square feet and yield 57 units and ground-floor retail space. Alba Services is the demolition contractor for the property, which is located between Stanton and Rivington Streets, directly across from Sara D. Roosevelt Park.
Construction is moving along on 98-14 66th Avenue, a seven-story mixed-use building in Rego Park, Queens. Designed by SLCE Architects and developed by RJ Capital Holdings, the 85-foot-tall structure will span 82,425 square feet and yield 62 units with an average span of 1,075 square feet, as well as 15,741 square feet of commercial space. KSK Construction Group is the general contractor for the property, which is bound by 99th Street to the northeast, 66th Avenue to the northwest, and Queens Boulevard to the southwest.
Construction is now complete on The Wales, a newly converted condominium property at 1295 Madison Avenue in the Carnegie Hill section of Manhattan’s Upper East Side. Led by owner-developer Adellco alongside Parisian design studio PINTO, the building features 21 homes and a modest collection of amenity spaces. The property is located at the corner of 92nd Street and Madison Avenue.
