7-9 East 30th Street’s Geometric Façade Revealed from Scaffolding in NoMad, Manhattan

Exterior work is approaching the finish line on 7-9 East 30th Street, a 23-story residential building in NoMad. Designed by SWA Architecture and developed by Castellan Real Estate Partners, the 227-foot-tall structure will yield 54 residences spread across 41,992 square feet as well as 2,142 square feet of ground-level retail space. Titanium Construction Services is the general contractor for the building, which is located between Madison and Fifth Avenues.

Ritz-Carlton Hotel and Residences Nears Completion at 1185 Broadway in Nomad, Manhattan

Construction is nearing completion on the Ritz -Carlton Hotel and Residences, a 45-story skyscraper at 1185 Broadway in NoMad. Designed by Rafael Vinoly and developed by MarriottRitz Carlton Hotels, and Flag Luxury Properties, the 580-foot-tall tower will yield 250 guest rooms spread across 150,000 square feet, as well as a collection of 16 one- and two-bedroom penthouse residences on the upper levels. Lendlease is the general contractor for the project, which is located at the corner of Broadway and West 28th Street. The Erin Boisson Aries team at Christie’s International Real Estate is handling the sales of the penthouse residences.

Construction is wrapping up on 199 Chrystie Street, a 14-story residential building on Manhattan’s Lower East Side. Designed by Thomas Juul-Hansen and developed by KD Sagamore Capital, which purchased the plot for $20 million, the 39,188-square-foot building will yield 14 homes in a staggered layout overlooking Sara D. Roosevelt Park. The project site is located near the intersection of Chrystie and Stanton Streets and was previously home to two buildings, 199 and 201 Chrystie Street.
