Construction is now underway on a Phase I of a sprawling, mixed-use development in Coney Island, Brooklyn. Located at 1709 Surf Avenue, the complex will eventually deliver 1,000 residential units, 150,000 square feet of retail space, and around 80,000 square feet of office area.
Demolition permits have been filed for 1622-1632 York Avenue in Yorkville, Manhattan. The plans include the demolition of six adjacent four-story buildings to make way for a fourteen-story assisted living facility at the corner of East 86th Street. The Engel Burman Group is responsible for the applications.
