Over the summer, medical marijuana company Palliatech signed a lease at 425 Fulton Street, between Pearl and Jay Streets in Downtown Brooklyn, with plans to open a dispensary.
A KFC franchise will likely bite the dust at the corner of Bushwick and Myrtle Avenues in Bushwick to make way for a six-story, mixed-use building. New building applications have been filed to erect a combination of apartments, retail and community facilities at 668 Bushwick Avenue.
Permits have been filed to build two new residential buildings in Flatbush, Brooklyn. They are at 26 East 19th Street and 730 East 32nd Street.
Earlier this year, Friedland Properties acquired financing for their 17-story, 230-unit residential building planned at 7 West 21st Street, in the Flatiron District. Now, the project has topped out, as seen in the above photos, courtesy of Tectonic. The block-thru development has street exposure on West 22nd and 21st Streets, and 8,210 square feet of retail space is planned on the ground floor. Fifty-eight of the residential units will rent at below-market rates. Morris Adjmi Architects designed the building, and completion is expected in 2016.
