Two months ago, YIMBY featured a new set of exterior renderings for Brooklyn Point, which is Extell’s first skyscraper in the Outer Boroughs. It will soon begin rising at 138 Willoughby Street, and will temporarily become the tallest tower in Downtown Brooklyn. Now, we have an exclusive first look at interior renderings for the project’s condominiums, which are being designed by Katherine Newman.
Renderings have been revealed for 1 Park Row, a new building rising in Manhattan’s Financial District, right across the street from City Hall Park. Permits filed in mid-October showed specifications for three floors of retail space, yielding a total 21,500 square feet. The project joins two others on the same block, at 1 Beekman Street and 23 Park Row.
YIMBY has the reveal for renderings of a new fitness center at the Windsor Park Co-Op Center, in Bayside, Queens. Permits were filed for the expansion last week. The project will service the roughly 5,000 residents living within the 46-acre community. Its nearest mass-transit is the LIRR train station at Queens Village, a ten-minute drive or fifteen-minute bus ride.
Permits have been filed for a three-story mixed-use building at 104 Kenilworth Place, in Flatbush, Brooklyn. The project will rise two blocks away from the Flatbush Avenue Subway Station, the end of the line for the 2 and 5 trains, and three blocks away from the Brooklyn College campus. Y & G Realty NY will be responsible for the development.
Permits have been filed for a four-story residential building at 3120 Glenwood Road, in East Flatbush, Brooklyn. The site is three blocks away from the Flatbush Avenue Subway Station, end of the line for the 2 and 5 trains, and that avenue’s intersection with Nostrand Avenue, a major commercial focal point attracting the likes of Modell’s and Target.
