Renderings from Steven Harris Architects reveal a ground-up façade and window replacement project at 19 East 74th Street on Manhattan’s Upper East Side. The property’s location in the Upper East Side Historic District will require the project team to obtain a Certificate of Appropriateness from the Landmarks Preservation Commission (LPC).
The affordable housing lottery has launched for 150 Lenox Road, an eight-story residential building in Flatbush, Brooklyn. Designed by BDF Design with interiors by BEAM Architects and developed by Promont NYC, the structure yields 42 residences, ground-floor community facility space, and parking for seven vehicles. Available on NYC Housing Connect are 13 units for residents at 130 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $76,286 to $167,570.
Construction has topped out on the ten-story addition atop 685 Fifth Avenue, a 100,000-square-foot office-to-condominium conversion in Midtown, Manhattan. Designed by Marin Architects and developed SHVO in partnership with Deutsche Finance, the $135 million project will yield 69 condominium units designed by March and White Design and managed by Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group, as well as retail space with Fifth Avenue frontage marketed by Brookfield Properties. Coach, Stuart Weitzman, and TAG Heuer currently operate their stores on the lower floors of the edifice while work progresses above.
Construction is complete on 260 Bowery, an eight-story residential building in Nolita, Manhattan. Designed by Morris Adjmi Architects and developed by Nexus Building Development, Inc., the 85-foot-tall structure yields a collection of three- to four-bedroom full-floor residences with a duplex penthouse on the top levels with sales and marketing led by BLU Marketing and branding by Flying Machine. The property is located between Houston and Stanton Streets, directly across from the New Museum.
Renderings from S. Wieder Architect offer a first look at a new 12-story residential property at 261 Grand Concourse in Mott Haven, The Bronx. The building will comprise 96 rental units and associated amenities including a fitness center, multiple open-air terraces, and more to be announced. Select residences will also include private outdoor space.
