As the buildings in the Upper West Side continue to age, Brack Capital is filing plans to bring 720 West End Avenue into the 21st century. The proposal for the Landmark Preservation Commission would reconstruct interiors, enlarge the original structure upward by one story, which would be invisible to pedestrians, and fill in the lot beside it with an eight-story addition. The plan would bring over 120 new residences to the area, with design by Morris Adjmi Architects.

130 William Street is one of the most highly anticipated buildings currently rising in Lower Manhattan, and after sales launched earlier this summer, another milestone is at hand. The hand cast and oversized concrete arches that will make up the façade, which are purposefully evocative of the city’s historic fabric from the 19th and early 20th centuries, are now quickly rising along the exterior. Adjaye Associates is responsible for the design.
