Exterior Work Progresses on Society Brooklyn and Sackett Place in Gowanus, Brooklyn

Construction is progressing on Society Brooklyn and Sackett Place, a pair of 21-story residential buildings at 267 Bond Street and 498 Sackett Street in Gowanus, Brooklyn. Designed by SLCE Architects and developed by Property Markets Group, which acquired both plots for $9 million in 2021, the complex will span 594,000 square feet and yield 517 residential units and 52,000 square feet of commercial space. Urban Atelier Group is the general contractor for the project, which is bound by DeGraw Street to the north, Sackett Street to the south, the Gowanus Canal to the east, and Bond Street to the west.

1015 Atlantic Avenue Completes Construction in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn

Construction is complete on 1015 Atlantic Avenue, a seven-story mixed-use building in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn. Designed by Tecnico Engineering and developed by Solomon Feder, the structure yields 38 units with 12 dedicated to affordable housing, as well as 9,000 square feet of commercial space. Rennit is in charge of leasing for the 5,200-square-foot ground-level and 3,800-square-foot cellar commercial spaces, and Empire Management served as the general contractor for the property, which is alternately addressed as 580 Classon Avenue and situated at the corner of Atlantic and Classon Avenues.

Designed by INOA Architecture and developed by EPIRE, the structure will yield 75 units, 8,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space, and 77 parking spaces. Christie Engineering is the structural engineer and Wilco Construction is the general contractor for the project, which is located between Brunswick and Division Streets.

Foundations Underway At 320 and 340 Nevins Street in Gowanus, Brooklyn

Excavation and foundations are progressing at 320 and 340 Nevins Street, the site of a two-tower residential project in Gowanus, Brooklyn. Designed by Fogarty Finger and developed by Charney Companies and Tavros Capital, the 600,000-square-foot complex will yield 654 rental units with 25 percent designated as affordable housing, as well as ground-floor retail space and a public waterfront esplanade designed by James Corner Field Operations. Broadway Construction Group is the general contractor for the 2.3-acre full-block property, which is alternately addressed as 417 Carroll Street and bound by Union Street to the north, Carroll Street to the south, Nevins Street to the east, the Gowanus Canal to the west.
