The Symon’s Exterior Stands Complete at 76 Schermerhorn Street in Brooklyn Heights

Exterior work is complete on The Symon, a 13-story condominium building at 76 Schermerhorn Street in Brooklyn Heights. Colberg Architecture served as the architect of record and Lonicera Partners, Orange Management, and The Davis Companies are the three developers of the address. The property features 59 units with interior design by Studio DB, which also led the design of the curtain wall. The project is located between Boerum Place and Court Street along the border with Boerum Hill.

Submitted as 300 Huntington Street, the proposed development sits on the border of the Carroll Gardens and Gowanus neighborhoods and comprises an assemblage of four adjacent lots.

One Boerum Place’s Brick Façade Continues Progress in Downtown Brooklyn

Designed by SLCE Architects and developed by Avery Hall Investments, Allegra Holdings, and Aria Development Group, the project will yield 122 units and is expected to cost around $250 million.

30-60 Front Street Rises Above Street Level in DUMBO, Brooklyn

Construction is now two floors above ground at 30-60 Front Street, a 26-story mixed-use building in DUMBO, Brooklyn. Designed by Hill West Architects and developed by Fortis Property Group, the 270-foot-tall project will yield 74 apartments, averaging 2,400 square feet apiece. The site is bound by Front Street to the north, Washington Street to the nearby east, and York Street to the south.

Designed by GF55 Partners, the 14-story residential building will yield 264,520 square feet, with residential amenity spaces, a community center, and a ground-floor supermarket in addition to the 235 units.

22 Chapel Street Tops Out Over Downtown Brooklyn

Construction has topped out at 22 Chapel Street, a 20-story residential building in Downtown Brooklyn. Designed by CetraRuddy and developed by Delshah Capital and OTL Enterprises, the 211-foot-tall structure spans 133,181 square feet and will yield 180 apartments, of which 25 will be designated for affordable housing. 22 Chapel Street will also be the home of START Treatment & Recovery Centers, New York’s largest independent drug treatment agency.

The affordable housing lottery is now open for 260 Gold Street, a 13-story residential development in Vinegar Hill, Brooklyn. Developed by Solomon Feder‘s Gold Street Realty Holdings and designed by J Frankl Associates with interiors by Studio C Architects, the building yields a total 286 rental units in a mix of studio and one-, two-, and three-bedroom units. Available on NYC Housing Connect are 86 apartments for residents at 130 percent of the area median income, ranging in eligible income from $76,835 to $183,300.
