Curtain wall installation is getting closer to completion on 181 Mercer Street, NYU‘s new 750,000-square-foot building in Greenwich Village. Designed by Davis Brody Bond and KieranTimberlake, the development consists of three towers rising from a full-block podium between Houston, Mercer, and Bleecker Streets and I.M. Pei’s University Village complex.
Hudson Square is now home to ‘Restorative Ground,’ a temporary public art installation and pavilion designed by WIP Collaborative. The installation is located on King Street between Hudson and Greenwich Streets and arrives as part of the local community’s participation in New York City’s Open Streets Program.

Designed by IMC Architecture with interiors by StudiosC and developed by Cavu Property Group, the structure yields 45,119 square feet and 41 units. Available on NYC Housing Connect are 13 units for residents at 130 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $63,395 to $167,570.
Permits have been filed for a nine-story mixed-use building at 39 West 128th Street in Harlem, Manhattan. Located between Fifth Avenue and Lenox Avenue, the site is three blocks north of the 125th Street subway station, serviced by the 2 and 3 trains. Taso Vassiliou of non-profit developer The Bridge Inc. is listed as the owner behind the applications.
A new series of street-level and aerial renderings have been revealed for The Alloy Block, a two-tower mixed-use development designed and developed by Alloy Development and located at 80 Flatbush Avenue and 100 Flatbush Avenue on the border of Downtown Brooklyn and Boerum Hill. Renderings depict the 482-foot-tall 100 Flatbush Avenue, a 44-story edifice being built in phase one at the corner of Flatbush Avenue and State Street, which will be the city’s first all-electric tower.
