Designed by Perkins + Will and developed by King Street Properties, Newmark Knight Frank, and GFP Real Estate, the project involves the restoration of a central building and construction of a six-story addition in multiple wings. The property is located just south of Jackson Avenue between Court Square West and Pearson Street, a short walk from the Court Square subway station, servicing the 7, E, and G trains.

RockFarmer Properties, developer of The Centrale at 257 Central Avenue in White Plains, has successfully sold all condominiums available in the newly renovated building. The company purchased 22 of the 30 residences in 2012 and maintained the units as rentals before embarking on a complete renovation and capital improvement of the asset beginning in November 2020.
